Squeak and Skipper
Donna Watkins, a guest writer for Cats, sent this photo. "The black cat (Squeek) is the larger cat's (Skipper) mother. She had a litter before we could trap her and spay her. They are now house kitties and her son sure does take care of her. You'll notice not only does he have his "arm" over her back, but the other one is around the front of her. They often sleep this way. He also washes her face and head. They are a delight to watch!"
 | Lucifer Erika, Lucifer's human companion, says, "His name is Lucifer and he is soon to be 7 years old although he still think he is a kitten, he is the cuddliest and most playful cat I've ever known. His fur is dark black at the ends and totally white next to the skin which makes it looks like he shimmers when he moves." |

| Heckle and Jeckle "These 2 brothers were crammed in one cage at the Humane Society, exceeding the 3 day kill standard by 27 days. We wanted them so bad but the staff wanted to make sure we did not separate them.....We got them 2 for one in the end ! We love these guys ! It's been a happy year !" | Mamie Mamie runs the house at Betsey's place, and sometimes ventures outdoors. "This is 9 month old Mamie training for the Iditerod. She has been delighted with her first snow, so many things to play with and explore and smell." |
| Meghan I've had alot of cats in my life but she's the first that would retreive a ball of tinfoil and she also can sit on command. Meghan also gives her paw like a dog and can *sit pretty*(beg)and give a high five!! I'm thinking of teaching her to jump through a hoop next!! lol.. she's beautiful to me and loves to sleep on my head and purr me to sleep at night!!
