| Copper Copper was found abandoned on a highway and carolmamacat@aol.com decided to keep him. She says he is so quiet she calls him 'Copper the Silent.' Copper weighs nearly 21 pounds, and when he meows he sounds like a baby kitten. Carol also calls him her 'living teddy bear.' |
| Miranda "Miranda is about nine months old, and she is crazy about dripping water - from the sink, tub or my hair. she is a real acrobat & likes to perch or hang on my stepper exercise machine," says her proud human mom Marca Leigh. |
| Mr.Peaches This is a kitten photo of Mr.Peaches, who is the subject of December's Caption contest. As you can see, he grew up to be as beautiful and inquisitive as he was as a babe. Mr. Peaches lives with Bonni Quinn, who is justifiably proud of him. |
| Lincoln "Lincoln Tabbytummy is about 5 months old now. This picture was taken on Sept. 23. "Tumtum" is sitting on his boy's shoulder, where he still loves to perch. He has the most beautiful shadow tabby markings, with no white anywhere. He is a lover who likes being held like a baby to have that tummy scratched." Lincoln Tabbytummy lives with Nancy Wood, who has a "thing" for kittens of any age and "flavor". |
| Stranger Stranger is the latest addition to Nancy Wood's clowder of cats. Nancy says they don't know where he came from; he just appeared one day. Although they can't touch him yet, he's starting to feel at home. Fitting that he should show up around December. |
| Cleo Cleo is a Rainbow Kitty who lit up the life of Jeffrey Low for three years before her untimely death in December, 1999. An adult photo of Cleo appears on the Memorial pages. Jeff wrote me that he had a feeling of "deja vu" when he saw that December was Red Cats month, and it is fitting that she should be the last December Red Cat on these pages. |
