Amelia " Here is pretty silver Amelia. Technically she is a Black Smoke with White Maine Coon, but her father was a grand champion silver tabby, and in practice she is almost solid silver. The solid black smoke cats have pure black faces and they are *very* striking. I adopted Amelia as a retired breeder about a year ago. At just over 8 pounds, she is small for her breed, but as a kitten she was a show cat and her registered name is Ch. Cooneyisle Smokin. I call her my silver lining, because petting her is like petting a cloud. Her favorite activity is sitting in the window chattering at the birds outside. Amelia sometimes shares her home with foster cats from the Maine Coon Rescue, which works in the U.S. and Canada to place Maine Coons and Coon Mixes in good, loving forever homes. Her mom is volunteers for MCR any way she can. -- Amanda Wilson (Koogle)
TC TC is a former feral that I fell in love with at a local shelter. He was my kitty for almost an hour....then hubby came home, and they've been best buds ever since. He thinks his name is spelled G.O.D., and has both of us wrapped around his clever little paws. As you can see, he likes to help around the house...here, he is helping mom make the bed. Can't you just hear his fuzzy little brain thinking "Okay....I've got it now....this corner gets tucked in over here....and this side gets....no....wait....hold on....I'll get it....." --TC's Mommy Dearest
Minzi Minzi Girl came to us as a feral...and pregnant! She gave us 5 beautiful kittens who we later found homes for. We have had her for about 5 months now and she has turned back into the kitten she was never allowed to be while living in the streets. She has captured our hearts and the heart of FB, the crabby orange cat who loves her so much now, he would be lost without her. She is fun, playful and so full of love and purrs. She is my alarm clock in the morning and at night "talks" to me to tell me it is bedtime. This was a quiet house till this girl came along and woke us all up with love! -- CANBZ
Tommy I got Tommy when he was 7 weeks old. He's our spoiled baby and is very attached to me and my boyfriend. He is the king of headbutts and likes to play fetch (even if we do more fetching then him). He sleeps in the bed with us and even snuggles under the covers if he's cold. He has a very plushy fur and doesn't shed much. I wouldn't mind anyway: our couch is grey! ;) For more pictures of Tommy go to: http://www.geocities.com/petitwallaby/tommy.html -- Karine Church
Baby This is Baby, our 21 year old girl. She will be 22 in March, 2003. My oldest son and I went to the local Humane Society, and that's where he said his first sentence to me. Baby put her paw out as we walked by and touched him on his arm(he was 6 months old and I was carrying him) He looked me in the eye and said very clearly, 'I want that one , Dad.' She has taught me many, many things about cats. -- Lance (Lonewolf)
Kaylani KaylaniRae is about 8 yrs old, we got her when she was about 4 months old from a farm. We call her the Queen because she definitely rules the house. She grudgingly shares her home with our 10 yr old cat, Buddy. She will start purring at the drop of a hat and loves to snuggle with us. -- Mandy (Vmanda)
