Gidget "When Gidget was younger she was a total tomboy. We fostered a litter of puppies last year that she would "babysit". She loved to wrestle with them. " -- TMIreland aka Meowmie
![]() | Jade "This is one of my cats, her name is Jade. Jade is a mix between a simese and a calico, and has very unusual markings. She is very lovable and is a part of the family." -- Jodi |
Rusty and Penny "My dilute calico girls (Rusty on left, Penny on right) are 3 years old and were left in a dumpster with their 2 brothers. I got them as babies from the rescue people. Penny is a lazy fat cat but the lovable one, nearly always beside me while I work on computer, knit or watch t.v. Rusty is miss independant, sits on back of chesterfield and watches birds fly by (they are both strictly indoor cats) she's very timid and hides under the bed when visitors arrive. Penny is very social and meets people at the door and visits with them. They love to knock the stuffed animals off the back of chesterfield and stretch out. " -- Helen
Patches "This is Patches. I am on the road either performing or teaching so when I am home, she makes sure I get my rest. She is truly an inspiration. Sweet little Patches also makes sure I don't take things too seriously." -- Dee Braxton-Pellegrino
Kitty "This is Kitty (not very original, I know, but she was adopted). What is so unique about my feline friend is that she lies on the heat registers nearly all day long. She is the coldest natured cat! Notice in the photo, she is bundled up. That's how you'll find her most any time of the day. " -- Crystal Anderson
Sweet Pea "Sweet Pea is a Meowmie's girl. She loves to cuddle and give kisses. She's so sweet she was even made with a black heart on her right side!" -- TMIreland aka Meowmie (Meowmie is a huge supporter of the Cats Forum, and very popular with other members.)
Dodie "Dodie was originally an outside kitty who was born under our house. We rescued him as a kitten and he has been with us ever since. I believe he doesn't remember from where he came because he has no desire to go outside. During the few winter nights in Georgia, we would build a nice, roaring fire. After the family went to bed, Dodie would take a bath by firelight or just relax and enjoy its warmth. " -- Michelle Franny's Note: (Incidentally, Dodie is one of those rare male calico cats I've mentioned earlier. It was quite a surprise to the vet when he prepared to "spay" him.)
