June Calendar Cats Photo Calendar

Just as May was for black and white Tuxedo cats, June is symbolized by all other bi-colors, with the accent on the white. (Think of a June bride in white, standing out among her bridesmaids dressed in colors.) The bi-colored cats include "piebald," which generally limits the colored area to a spot on the head and the tip of the tail, however, we won't be that picky here.

Molly

"Meet Miss Mollie. Mollie chose me when I went to the shelter to find another companion after losing my dear Buddy cat to cancer several months before. She has brought much love and sweetness into our lives along with alot of laughter!"

Mamie

"As you can see and I can FEEL, 9 month old Mamie is a fabulous fuzzball. She got the best of the gene pool with a long haired mother and short haired father and is incredibly cuddly." Mamie is a wonderfully photogenic blue and white cats, and she epitomizes the bi-color look.

Spock

""Mr. Spock was my first cat as an adult. I had no idea I wanted a kitten until I found him, felt him snuggle next to my cheek, and ask me where I had been - he had been waiting just for me. The tiny sick kitten grew into a big, beautiful 17 pound cat, He taught me so much, including that cats are just as intelligent and as wonderful companions as dogs, and that I never again wanted to be without a cat in my life. I'll always cherish my time with him. "

Iris

" says, "Iris is a beautiful gray and pure white. She loves to drink water from the tap."

Spike

Spike is a real rascal full of energy "[He} used to attack my cat Casper AKA the Old man when he was sleeping . Then came Camaro our Manx/ American Bob and he had someone more his age to play with! In this picture Spike actually stood for at least five minutes looking out the door across the room, [which] gave my husband time to grab the camera. Spike must be half mir cat - he often stands to get a better view." "

Sidney

"Sidney was rescued from the bushes at approximately four months of age. Like all kittens, he was very inquisitive and had to "inspect" everything. In this photo, he's not really eating the spider plant, he's just smelling it." (Sidney is now a Rainbow Kitty and I know Heather misses him dearly.) "
