Tigger "Tigger is about 9 years old now. Tigger has serious health problems, but you would not know to see him. He is affectionate, but NOT a lap cat, doesn't like to be held either. He is one of the many who sleep with me every night though." Tigger co-owns Michelle, who is a regular Cats forum contributer.
Sasha Sasha lives with Sherry DiLorenzo, who says, "Believe it or not, Sasha is 13 years old! She's a sweetie and loves posing for the camera, even though she's not supposed to be on the kitchen table!"
Henry "He's a formidable hunter of the moths & flies which fly into the apt in the summer, and no string is safe when he's around. One of his favorite games is to charge the front door when I come in so he can run out into the hall. But once he's out there, he comes running back in to try to get me to come out & play too. When I stir in the morning, he bounds up into bed purring to welcome me to the day. He likes to jump into the bath as the water is draining, splashing up to his ankles in warm water." Henry lives with Colleen Farrell, along with Lucy, another tabby.
Lucy "She's small for her age, and her little white socks give her perpetually kittenish appearance. Lucy does everything with gusto - which is sometimes overwhelming for meeker Henry. She sits by the bathroom sink with me in the morning when I'm getting ready for work - she likes to attack my hair and look at herself in the mirror. She pounces on strings, moths, reflections of light on the wall - anything that moves." Colleen Farrell
Riley "This is my main man Riley. He is a 14 month old Maine Coon. He's a classic Brown and is definitely the coolest cat I've ever owned. He is probably about 17 pounds right now (if not more)." Riley rules the roost at Tim Baxter's pad.
Missy "Missy is the cat who chose me. I really wanted her sibling, but Missy was the one who cuddled against my cheek, purring, and who said she had been looking for me her entire life. She never stopped telling me that, and made sure that everyone knew she was MY cat. For 10 1/2 far too brief years she brightened my life, until a blood clot took her from me. In spite of three new, very loved kitties, the light never has come back as bright, and I doubt that it ever will. Missy is VERY much missed." Missanda |
