picture of Cookie, a tabby cat from Singapore
Cookie

"Greetings from Singapore! We rescued this feisty boy from a rubbish dump and we fell in love with him at first sight, although he was scowling at us. Now, he's a bundle of energy and bounces around the house all the time." Cookie lives with Lam Chiaw Yen, who sent this photo.

Wagner

Maria Questa has been a frequent contributer of photos, and this is her big boy Wagner. She says, "This is Wagner some time ago; now he's even bigger. OK, he's a male, but he's enormous. He's the most tender cat, but he doesn't like to be lifted up. We really love his "meows" for they are really, really high-pitched, and this coming from such a big cat is relly funny!"

Sevah

Evi sent this photo along with her humorous description: "Sevah only drinks water from the tap. He can stay for hours in the kitchen sink . He hasn't learned how to do the dishes yet but I am working on it :-")
photo of Chess, a tabby cat
Chess

"I adopted Chess from the Vancouver SPCA when she was 7 months old. Chess turned out to be pregnant and soon gave birth to three kittens, Stan, Ollie and Charlie. I've kept the whole family together and never regretted the decision. Chess is just a doll. Very affectionate and always close to me. She often sleeps on my stomach at night and is an expert back massager. Her favorite sleeping place is her kitty condo, which sits right in front of the fireplace." Chess lives with L. Gosselin, who contributed this photo.
picture of Phoebe, a tabby cat
Phoebe

"I got Phoebe 7 years ago when she was 3 months old at the Animal Rescue League of Boston. The reason listed on her cage for the owners giving her up read "too much". She was indeed a wild and very playful kitten! But I couldn't ever imagine thinking she is "too much". She is a wonderful, affectionate companion. Phoebe has a very expressive face, and often looks very pleased with herself. Though she has mellowed in recent years and spends most of her time sleeping, Phoebe enjoys playing with catnip mice and watching birds out the window." (Phoebe's owner wanted to remain anonymous.)
