photo of Jerry, a tabby cat
Jerry

" This is a picture of Jerry. He was our first cat that we adopted. He was adopted from our local Humane Society in May of 2001. He may look sweet, but he is the grumpiest cat I have ever met. When we adopted him he started crying when they put him in the carrier. I stuck my finger in between the bars to pet his nose and he bit and clawed me! I should have known then that life would never be boring with Jerry around. "

Scherzo

"This is Scherzo. He was born in our backyard about 6 months ago, and since then we have adopted his mother and his brother, Tybalt. Scherzo has a mean streak in him, and although he looks rather playful here, he's looking for a way to leap over my head and run to safety."

Tybalt

This is Tybalt. He was born in my backyard about 6 months ago, and we have since adopted his mom and his brother. He's a sweetheart, but his brother, Scherzo (above), doesn't like people very much. Tybalt's favorite toy is this stuffed bunny, and you can see he has dragged it into his hiding place to cuddle up with it

picture of Widgie, a tabby cat
Widgie

"My cats name is Pig-Widgian, or Widgie for short. Her jaw was broken and it was hard for her to eat. Her previous owners dumped her off in my area. When I caught sight of her she was nothing but skin and bones with her jaw cocked sideways. We've got her all fixed up now and she is in good health. She is a lovable, small little girl who doesn't like to be held but does love all the attention you can bestow upon her. If she feels ignored, she will reach out and slap you in the head as you walk up or down the stairs. I never get a chance to go to the animal shelters in my area, the cats come to me and I'm glad that I am the one that is here for them. "

Pepper

"This is Pepper, tabby x siamese. He talks a lot, saying hello every time he comes in from his hunts outside. He is a hunter par excellence, and loves bringing his prey into the house. He also calls out to Maya, his siamese partner, when he cannot see her. They adore each other. He loves going down to the beach to play on the sand and chase the seagulls. "
