| Cezanne Cezanne is a rescue kitty and lives with BalletCat and 19 other kitties in a big house on over two acres in the middle of a desert. He is eight months old now. |
| SerebyaniTarab SerebyaniTarab was named after the racehorse Silver Charm. He lives with BalletCat, who is one of the most resourceful people I know for finding unusual names for kitties. |
| TalaMaleki TalaMaleki is Tarab's sister. BalletCat says, "Her fur is as soft as a bunny rabbit's fur! I think both of them have a lot of Occicat in them." |
| NariNam "NariNam is my Y2K "terror kitten" who in May kind of started the whole adoption binge i got into." NariNam is another BalletCat kitty. Lucky cats! |
| Chloe Chloe lives happily with Maria Isabel, my email friend in Chile. "Chloe was the last kitten to be given away, because she was the less beautiful of 5. Nobody wanted her so I decided to adopt her. She is always meowing like trying to speak. She is a very sweet pet and one of my two darlings." |
| Chakula and Duma Judi says, "My cats' names are Chakula Bagheera and Duma Bagheera (Chakula is the cheeky one and the most photogenic but Duma has the very best personality and is very brave - more about this further on). Chakula(food in Swahili- Swahili is the language spoken in Kenya where the Sokoke forest is situated) and Duma(=leopard in Swahili) are Sokoke cats (brown African Tabbies), brothers and now 7 years old. Like all Sokokes, they are incredibly talkative, demanding and affectionate and desperare for human attention despite being only 5 generations removed from their wild roots in Africa. As you can see from the photos, they sleep in bed with me and hubby (Aart), take every opportunity to sit/lie on us and generally follow us around." (Dumas' story continued with larger photo). |
