"This is Maya, who is a tortie-point siamese, ex breeding queen.
She is three years old, and we adopted her when she was retired as breeding queen. She loves the freedom she has now, as opposed to being kept in a kennel-like environment. She catches bugs, and brings them to me, while meowing all the way with a noisy bug in her mouth! We had a rough time adjusting, it took her two weeks to stop hiding, and she trusted nobody. Now she follows me everywhere, even to the bathroom, and of course the beach. She could not believe her eyes the first time she saw this BIG kitty litter box!"
