Cons

  • Limited availability for printed book

Description

Guide Review - Complete Kitten Care (Kindle Edition), by Amy D. Shojai

I had originally reviewed the softcover version of this book, and I consider it a must-have in the library of someone who loves kittens (such as kitten fosters). The original book is now out of print with limited availability. The great news is that Complete Kitten Care is now available in an updated version on Kindle, and takes complete advantage of the tools this e-book offers:

  • Clickable Links to Internet Resources
  • The Ability to Add Bookmarks and Notes
  • Text-to-Speech Enabled
  • Available for Other E-Book Platforms (Including the Free Kindle for PC)

I had heard great things through the Cat Writers' Association about Amy Shojai prior to reading Complete Kitten Care, and was not disappointed after finishing this book. Amy takes the guesswork out of raising a kitten, from the first decision of "what kind, what color?" to Effective Kitten Correction. If you want to "cheat," you can learn a lot just by reading the tips and extras contained in the sidebars, but I suspect you'll soon be drawn into the text, as you learn more.

Complete Kitten Care is truly a captivating book, as much as those beguiling kittens that were the reason you needed it. Kittens are not just little cats, and anyone bringing a kitten home for the first time needs this book.
