Definition:
inbreeding: breeding of brother to sister
linebreeding: breeding of mother to son, grandmother to grandson, or more generally, two animals with the same "lines" in their ancestry. (Some breeders may have differing definitions.)
Examples:
Jared practiced a careful program of line breeding, selecting queens and studs from lines he knew to be representative of the type of cat he wanted to breed.
