Cat Haiku by Maurice

At last, a reader who appreciates Haiku! These were submitted by Maurice, who says, "We have six cats. Each one does his or her own thing."

I hope you'll enjoy them as much as I do!

the gift  New
cat comes in the house
big gray rodent in his mouth
grateful gift for you

Hairballs  New
cat sleeps on my coat
leaving hugh white hair balls there
christmas comes early

Hockey
black cats against gray
christmas ornament hockey
let the games begin

I Dare You
the duck flaps its wings
seeing all the cats below
come on land here once

White Bowl
People are funny
They sit on the big white bowl
My drinking water

Gauntlet
Gauntlet has begun
Four big cats, one lonely mouse
Armageddon Day

Rush
I'm getting a rush
Rolling on the floor so high
Pass the catnip please
