About Cats Picture of the Week

My cat's name is Emma. She is 9 months old now, we got her when she was 12 weeks old, that's about how old she is in the picture. We have another cat, Sammy, who is 17 years old. He didn't like her very much at first, but now we catch them sleeping next to each other a lot, even though Sammy pretends he still doesn't like her ;). She is very playful and likes to attack feet when they are out of the covers or when she first wakes up. She was a great addition to our home :)

Cats Pictures of the Week are selected from general photo submittals. Emma's photo was submitted for the Kittens Gallery, and will be included there the next time that gallery is updated. Look at that sweet, comical little face. Can you blame me for choosing her?

You may send your own photo, using the guidelines on the Photo Submittal page. Be sure to write a paragraph or so about the cat, at least two or three sentences. Our galleries have space for 2500 characters, including spaces, so don't be afraid to tell us about your cat within those parameters.

Remember that not only the quality of the picture, but the care you take in describing your cat may make the difference in its being chosen as Cat of the Week!
