Cat of the Week: Sir Elton
About Cats Email Photo Series

Sir Elton

"Sir Elton came to our backyard many times during the summer of 2002. I felt so bad for him because he was skin and bones, dirty and was obviously no ones pet. Well, naturally I started to leave food out for him. In late October of 2002, I told my husband that I wanted to trap him so he wouldn't spend another cold winter outside cold, hungry and unloved. We trapped him, took him to the vet where he was tested and "tutored." As you can see by his picture he is now happy, healthy and very much loved. He has turned out to be the biggest mush-pot and loves his tummy rubs. He is still not 100% socialized but well on his way. It is so heart warming when he lets me pet him and love him. He has given back so much to us in return for giving him a warm and loving home."

If you are not already a subscriber, click here to receive the About Cats Email Cat of the Week.

Cats Photos of the Week, both the email version, and on-site, are selected from general photo submittals. You may send your own great cat photo, using the guidelines on the Photo Submittal page. Be sure to write a paragraph or so about the cat. I can whittle down for brevity, but I can't write very much about a cat I don't know.
