Guide Review
A Front Porch with Measles
Mr. Potter's porch needs painting, but Tabby (his cat) and Zeke (Tabby's canine friend) get into the mix, along with a squirrel and a chipmonk. The result is a multi-colored porch and a great read for the younger audience. Arthur Howard's watercolor illustrations and Cynthia Rylant's amusing story and heartwarming characters combine beautifully to make the book "come to life" for its readers.
