Guide Review
"Are you a cat?"
Children can develop their reading skills while learning about friendship in its different forms through the characters of Jack, the cat, and Sam, the mouse. The wonderful illustrations play a large part in this book, which is important for Kindergarten and 1st Grade students. This book is part of the Green Light Readers series from Harcourt, Inc., and would be excellent for home schooling young readers.
