Book Review: Just Cats
Text by Karen Anderson

"And they do so much for the landscape!

Whether they're sitting somewhere as a feline finial or stretched out gracefully across a bench, it cannot be ignored that cats beautify and enhance the planet."
This book is ecumenical in its scope, glorifying cats from their extremes of habitat: from mousers on country farms, to L.A. alley cats, to pampered pedigreed cats in Manhatten and Key West, and it does so in a non-judgemental fashion.

Karen Anderson has great insight into the psychology of cats, and her remarks are just on-target enough to enhance, rather than detract from the stunning photographs.

The final chapter on kittens is the icing on the cake, and what a deliciously sumptious cake it is!

I would recommend this book to any cat enthusiast, and it would be a great ground-breaker for those "I'm not sure, but I'm willing to be convinced," holdouts. If the photos alone don't win them over, the text surely will.
