Ginny - The Dog Who Rescues Cats
Page 3
Philip, Sheilah and Ginny now share their homes with twenty of Ginny's finds. Among them are Betty Boop, who was born without hind feet and hops like a rabbit; Topsy, who has cerebral palsy and can only roll from place to place; Jackie, born blind but now has 40% vision after Philip paid for surgery; and Tulip, who lost an ear after being beaten with a chain.
Philip and Sheilah live modestly in their old neighborhood. They have set their priorities in life, and with Ginny's loving guidance, live their lives by the Golden Rule. But help is needed. As food and medical care costs escalate, their income has not. The book royalties and Philip's small pension barely cover the cost of cat food.
For information on how you can help, go to Diabella's site. While you're there, be sure to visit Ginny's Album to see photos of her many friends. And if you've a spare dollar or two, I know you'll want to donate to Ginny's funds for food and veterinary care. Diabella will tell you how. I personally can't think of a more worthwhile cause.
When you've read the book, you will understand why I'm so excited about this remarkable pair.
