Judging for the About Cats Site of the Year 2000 will take place during the first three weeks of January. The winning site will be selected by a panel of impartial experts:
- Judith Kautz, About Guide to Entrepreneurs
- Janet Wickell, About Guide to Vacation Homes
- Rebecca Hanneman,About Guide to Book Collecting
Nominated Sites:
- CatStuff
- Diabella Loves Cats
- Cattery El Sham
- Feline Companions
- Cat Fanciers Association
- Safe Haven for Cats
- CLAW
Despite their busy schedules as Guides to About, these three cat lovers have agreed to visit each of the nominated sites and to make a fair and impartial decision. Their guidelines for selection are:
- Overall Visual Appeal of Site
- Valuable Content
- Ease of Navigation
The judges may or may not post advisory polls on their web sites, however the decisions of the judges will be final. The winner will be announced toward the end of January, 2001.
The Grand Prize for the Site of the Year winner is a cash donation to a charity chosen by the winner. If the winning site represents a non-profit organization, the donation will be made directly to that organization.
