Seasaidh

"Seasaidh will jump on the nearest lap and nestle in for a nap. Her purr is so relaxing. When there is no lap around, she will curl up in a ball. Some people say that males are friendlier than females, but this girl dispels that myth completely.

As running a cattery is not a money-making business, we both work at day jobs to support them. Ev Russell is a Director of Administration at a website development/marketing company, while her husband, Bruce, is a Shop Manager for a very busy heating/plumbing business.

In addition to the day jobs and the cattery, Bruce and Ev are also the editors/publishers for the International Scottish Fold Association quarterly newsletter. For the past two years, this newsletter has won a Muse Medallion in the Cat Writers Association writing contest. We are proud of this accomplishment and we are proud of our cats who have inspired us."

Franny's Note: Many thanks to Ev for providing the first photos for the Scottish Fold Photo Album, and for giving us additional information about this lovely and loving breed.

You may submit photos of your own pedigreed cat (AKA "purebred") of Scottish Folds or any other accepted breed, using the guidelines on the Photo Submittal page. Pet and rescue photos are also most welcome. Be sure to write a paragraph or so about the cat.
