January Cats Photo Calendar
Page 1: Blue and Silver Cats
Although December marks the start of Winter, January epitomizes that season with snow, sleet, and ice. The Flavor of the Month for January is silver and blue cats, reflecting the colors of icicles hanging from the roof, and frozen ponds.
Here are our January cats, whose soft, warm, cuddly appearances belie the cold month they represent.

Jazz BalletCat has a habit of rescuing cats, and Jazz is one of her latest finds, rescued from a shelter. He's about six months old in this photo.
Smokey "This is my cat Smokey who was born in Sept. 1998 under the crawl space of my house, along with two other littermates for which homes were found. She is a real 'talker' and makes herself known when she wants your attention ...usually when FOOD is involved." Smokey was rescued by Linda Linda Militello, who sees that she gets plenty of FOOD.
Oliver "Oliver came along after I was sure my cat family was complete at three. I tried to resist, but one look into his wise beyond his years (months?) green eyes, and I was hooked. Every day he makes me glad that he is a part of my life, and realize just how lucky I am that he found me." Oliver shares a home with Missanda and three other lucky kitties. | |
Iris "Iris is a beautiful gray and pure white. She loves to drink water from the tap." Iris lives with Catsmom, who keeps her well-hydrated.
Theo Ellen shared this photo of her darling Theo, who is a 16 month old Chartreux. Ellen says, "He is my big soft cuddley bear."
Muffin "Muffin is a blue Persian with copper eyes. She was found abused and abandoned and is our greatest joy." Muffin's photo was also sent by CatsMom.
