Titch Eileen says about Titch, "I adopted him from the family of a friend when their son became very allergic to cats. I knew he was meant to be my cat as Titch was my fathers nick-name for me as a child. He is a very loving cat, but having spent the first year of his life with dogs has acquired some trait from them like sitting up and begging for his food and walking and traveling on a harness and lead." He's even won a blue ribbon for demonstrating this ability.
Powder "Powder is my big cat-fur covered hug. Everyone should have at least one cat like Powder. He was my first boy for over 10 years, and I had almost forgotten how delightful boy cats can be. Hopefully he will be with me for 20 more years so that I will never forget this important fact, ever again." Powder lives with Missanda, of Cats Forum greatness. | |
Vinnie Gayle Ellena sent in Vinnie's photo. She says, ""Vinnie" 1 year old red tabby manx. He is very laid back and often sits in that exact position. I have never seen a cat that sits like that but the fact that he has no tail probably allows him to be in that position. He has an excellent disposition and loves to be held on his back."
Tierra Janet sent Tierra's photo. Tierra was found at a very young age by a Schnauzer dog and raised by that same dog. Her miraculous story will be told in the Photo of the Week page on March 26, 2001.
CC Lynne says, "This is my miracle cat. I found her wandering in an apartment complex, pregnant and hungry. Took her home, unfortunately had to have the kittens aborted, couldn't deal with having to find homes for them had they been born. I always worry way to much what the new owners may be like. She now resides with us, our two dogs and 4 other cats, all of whom have been rescued off the streets. She has just recently had a kidney stones operation and is recovering nicely. She loves to give hugs when you pick her up..this is our C.C. (meaning Crazy Cat and we love her dearly)
Pasha Pasha the Cat is a Maine Coon. He's a rescue cat and is about three or four years old now. At seventeen pounds, you can hear him when he jumps down the stairs. He used to live with my son, but when we took care of him for a week when my son was away, Pasha decided he liked us better and wouldn't leave. Pasha lives with Jerry Bloom, who shared this photo.
