Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge...

"George - he was only with us for two years, but we loved him as if he were
our child. Sadly, his 13 yrs. of life came to an end due to a tumor in the
mouth. We choose not to remember how he was while he was sick, it's too
painful. We still laugh about how he wouldn't play with his kitty toys
unless they were in reaching distance; smile knowing that he hated to see us
leave for work everyday; and we miss him the most at bedtime because he is
longer here to cuddle up under the blankets with us as we fall asleep. He
truly was a human being. He was my best friend and I miss him everyday.
even though we have a new kitty in our lives, George will never be
forgotten...he will always live on in our hearts."

"Gordo was Doug's first and best
friend since he moved from Ohio to California in 1996 and got him when he
was just a kitten, he grew to become a strong, BIG, good hearted cat that
always acted as a guard cat protecting us and our home. Gordo will be missed
everyday of our lives. He owns a big part of our hearts. His brothers Jerry
and Timmeee and sister Tipper thank Gordo for protecting them specially last
night (August 7, 2002) and for always being the Best Big Brother ever."

"Ruckyron started life here as a stray, very much unwanted, without any particular name. I finally started calling him 'Ron'.
He got into so much trouble, and survived so many stunts, I finally dubbed him 'Luckyron', and that somehow turned into Ruckyron.
He was my heart. And it remains broken without him in my life.
Rucks luck ran out on the morning of 10/20/1998 when he was hit by a car, on his way back across the street.
We do know that Rucky was lucky 4 times though, as we have the four kittens he fathered the month before he died."

"Zif, my sealpoint Persian who died tragically 5 months ago (hit by a
speeding car). I got him as a 10 week old kitten and during his short life
of 2 years we were never separated for more than a few hours at a time. He
lived a life of luxury, dining on prime steak heated in his own microwave,
which was his dinner gong. As any cat lover will appreciate, his loss was
almost too much to bear. Though during his life he was loved more than words
can describe."
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
This section will always be "in production," and your tributes to your own Special Cats are encouraged. It is always difficult to say "goodbye" to a cherished friend, and a tribute is one way of easing the pain while saluting the cats who bring so much happiness to our lives. You may submit your photo and tribute using the guidelines on the photo submission page.
