"NAVIGATING THIS SITE" > Page 1, 2

fig. 4 Next, let's take a look at the "In the Spotlight" section, in the center of the page. (fig. 4) The top link in this section will always point to the current featured article written by your Guide. These articles are archived in the Index at the top of the page under "Articles", (fig. 1) so if you want to finish an article later, or send one to a friend, the archived URL would be the one to refer to. Let's click on Articles right now. You can click on the embedded link in this article, or in the one in the Index at the top of this page. You'll notice two headings at the top: Articles by Date, and Articles by Topic. The Articles by Date page includes all the Cats features from 1999, and at the bottom of this pages are links to 1998 and 1997 features archives. The Articles by Topic page provides a ready cross-reference in case you remember an article about a particular subject, but can't place the time (or year) you read it.

Moving back to the "In the Spotlight" section, under the featured article the section includes links to Cats Guide Extras, such as "how-to" articles; past features of current interest, hot topics in the Forum, links to related articles by other guides, and other timely links. In fact, you may have found the link to this article in the "In the Spotlight" section. Occasionally you'll also find here links to particularly outstanding web pages elsewhere on the Net.

At the bottom of this section you'll see the notation, "More From your Guide". This page contains links to free web graphics and backgrounds, awards we've won and other information not covered in the three sections we've discussed. This page will have new links added to it on a regular basis, so check it frenquently.

Directly below the "More" section are links to the Cats Bookstore, Video Store, and the Shopping About store.

There you have it. Congratulations for passing Cats 101 with flying colors! I hope this tutorial has helped you in finding everything you want to know about cats and the people who love and cherish them.
