Spring Cleaning at Cats

Psssst! Guess what?

Nope. You're in the right place. While you were sleeping, we were doing some Spring cleaning. You know the drill: vacuuming, scrubbing the floors, washing the walls, polishing the windows, beating the rugs, shining the cat. More importantly, we've rearranged the site to make things easier for you to find.

Subjects
That "Subjects" list to your left is possibly the most convenient part of our redesign. It appears on every page and enables you to access Cats' huge library of resources about almost every Subject in the world of Cats. So, if you're reading an article about inappropriate elimination problems you can access the Behavioral Problems subject resources, to learn more about it, or move on to Health Issues for articles and links on kidney disease in cats. You can click on the "More Subjects" link at the bottom of the list to view all the Subjects in the Cats Library.

The Main Page:
Spotlight
The main page is our pride and joy. New features are highlighted right at the top of the page in the Spotlight.
Typically you'll find three features there, along with a Did you Know snippet--a startling or interesting piece of information linked to an accompanying article. Below each Spotlight features you'll often find links to Forum or Chat discussions on that topic-- a handy way to keep abreast on Members' feedback, and an opportunity to offer your own two cents' worth.

Essentials
Essentials are just that: everything cat lovers or people wanting to learn more about cats, need to know, plus an ever-changing assortment of useful and fun stuff--links to Guide Specials such as What's New, which updates weekly; the Fun page, which includes Free Cats Postcards, Puzzles & Games, and free Graphics.

Other Stuff
You'll also find the Subjects list on the left side of the main page. The Chat Room and Forums remain unchanged. If you are not already a member of this Community, you're missing out on some great support, laughs and lasting friendships with other members. Remember, joining is FREE, so register today if you haven't already.

More changes are on the way, but non so dramatic as our new look and layout. You'll soon be able to purchase advertising specifically on the Cats site in the form of "Sponsored Links." Other options will include forms for reader submission of content.

It's a brand new look, but it's still the same Cats. - everything you ever wanted to know about Cats, but Tiger wouldn't tell you.
