About Cats Site of the Year 2000

Winner is announced.
Well, the Judges' decision is final, and as you might imagine, it was a difficult task for all. There were a number of exceptional sites from which to choose, each offering its own inimitable way of honoring cats. The judges were asked to consider values including content, pleasing to the eye, and ease of navigation, along with overall value to cat lovers. It is my honor to announce the winner:
A check for $100 will be sent to Feline Companions as a small gesture of appreciation for their indefatigable work in rescuing cats considered "unadoptable," and to help with medical needs for these cats.
I would be remiss in not mentioning the two sites which tied for "runner-up", Diabella Loves Cats and CatStuff, both of which are not only beautiful sites, but also are inimitable in their advocacy for animals. The webmasters of these two sites will receive a donation of $50 each for their favorite cat-related charities. Glenda Moore of CatStuff has selected Best Friends in Utah (which was a previous contender for Site of the Month), and the donation will be sent on her behalf. Diane (Diabella) has chosen Philip Gonzalez and Ginny, the Dog who Rescues Cats as the recipient of her donation.
