This completes our tutorial. It took over a week to decorate our Christmas tree this year. My son did the hardest part: setting the tree up level in the stand, trimming the excess branches, and putting up the Christmas lights. The top decoration (which he also put up) is a large old-fashioned St. Nicholas, dressed in a satin robe trimmed with fake fur.
I added the ornaments, one-by-one during the day, in-between working on my computer, or in the evenings, while reading or watching Christmas movies. I'd study the tree, looking for a bare spot, then find an ornament that seemed right for the location.
It was a labor of love, and I hope my readers will enjoy it. You will also have the opportunity to submit photos and a story of your own cat-safe Christmas tree, by using a form linked directly below this Step-by-Step.
