The main (central) entry is staffed with ARF volunteers, waiting to welcome new visitors. A "donation wall" displays the names of individual and corporate donors. Supporters of ARF were able to meet $10 million of the estimated $16.8 million cost of building the ARF Adoption and Education Center. in addition, The AJP Foundation has pledged $800,000 towards ARF's Capital Campaign with its "Triple Play Challenge."

The building encompasses 37,700 square feet, and a pavillion/dog training center in the rear provides space for training dogs as well as "people training" and other events.
