Cat toys and kitten play delights owners and pets alike. The best toys stand up to teeth and claws, and appeal to all the senses. They must be small and light enough to move with the flick of a paw-swipe. The motion keeps kitty eyes glued to the target--cats key on motion. Further, a rattling or crackling mimic prey sounds. Add scent, like a catnip center, and your cat will be in love.
Kong Company, perhaps more known for dog toys, sent me a selection of their cat toy collection. While Seren(dipity) enjoys cheap thrills of homemade toys, she was impressed!
1. Wild Tails, Cat Toy
An extra-long feather tail dance and tease cats as they try to pounce on the rattle ball. Toss this toy across the room and watch kittens race to be the first to pounce.
2. Moppy Kickeroo, Wrestling Catnip Toys
Cats attack, wrestle and snuggle with this Kong Kickeroo. The size, shape and material promote wrestling and hind paw kicking, and the fluffy tail moves as the cat wrestles, revving up even more excitement. Catnip adds attraction.
3. Kickaroo Mouse, Wrestling Catnip Toy
Cats attack, wrestle and snuggle with this mouse-shaped Kickeroo. The size, shape and material trigger kitty attack, and your cat will love wrestling and hind paw kicking. A fluffy tail moves as the cat wrestles, revving up even more excitement. The crackling sound along with catnip spices up the action.
4. Moppy Ball
A fun ball to claw, bat, and knock all over. Seren liked to throw this one up and down the stairs. A rattle sound adds excitement.
5. Pinwheel
The Cat Braidz packed with catnip includes fringed fabric for biting, tugging, and grasping pleasure. I suspect that for cats who enjoy gnawing and chewing, the braided portion will prove irresistible.
6. Kong Mouse Catnip Toy
More Cat Braidz impregnated with catnip, this time in a fun mouse shape
7. Safari Catnip Toy
Another Cat Braidz complete with premium catnip, this time in a comical giraffe form.
