The Cat in the Hat has been around for almost 50 years, since the publishing of the famed book by Dr.Seuss. An entire industry has evolved around The Cat in the Hat, and it is rare to see the home of a confirmed cat lover that doesn't display or use one or more Cat in the Hat products. These are my favorites of the group.

This wacky glazed ceramic cookie jar must be seen to be believed. The Cat is the lid atop his hat, which holds the cookies. 
2. The Cat in the Hat Book
No cat humor library is complete without "The Cat in the Hat." For almost 50 years, this book has been delighting audiences both young and old, and it has spawned a plethora of videos, stuffed toys, a movie, and other Cat in the Hat products. Pop up some popcorn, brew some cocoa, and settle in with the family for an enjoyable evening watching the Cat in the Hat movie, available in both DVD and VHS versions. If you're feeling especially adventurous, you can polish off the evening with some green eggs and ham.

Based on the move this video game follows the adventures of Conrad, a young boy trying to undo the escape of the Cat's Seussian magic from the big red box. Players will navigate through rooms of the house not seen in the film, as they play this imaginative game.
7. Vivendi Universal Dr. Seuss' The Cat in the Hat XBox
An XBox library would not be complete without this game. Somehow, the Cat's world has become combined with the human world (horrors!) and you need to help the cat find the stolen lock to seal the crate containing his world. If you're skillful and lucky, you'll explore 12 levels of play, each enhanced with celebrity voiceovers by Mike Myers and Sean Hayes.8. Cat in the Hat Child Fleece Costume

For the "full nine yards" at a costume party (and that may be the size of the hat), this plush polar fleece children's costume comes with a character headpiece with attached jumpsuit with bow tie, tail, gloves and shoecovers, all attached.
