Recalled Cat Food List

On March 24, 2007, a press release announced that Menu Foods "has asked all retail outlets to immediately remove all impacted varieties of wet pet food posted at www.menufoods.com, regardless of the date code.

Menu Foods remains concerned that consumers are able to purchase recalled items." It went on to say that an abundance of caution is indicated now, even though there is no known risk from items not listed on the recall, and that the FDA has been apprised of this action.

For those readers who have found it difficult to print the red-font list on the Menu Foods site, this list should be printable. The links point to the Menu Foods specific details for each recalled cat food product.

In addition, subsequently recalled foods by individual companies and by Menu Foods will be added to this list as they are announced.

On April 5, 2007, Menu Foods announced the addition of 20 varieties of cat and dog foods to its recalled foods list. In addition, the manufacture date of ALL food in the original list has been extended back to November 8, 2006. Menu Foods list of recalled foods now includes those additions and changes.
