Make Drinking Water More Interesting to Cats

In summer months it is particularly important that cats drink enough water. Here are two quick tips for accomplishing that:

Use an automated water dispenser to keep water fresh and clean. (I use the Drinkwell Pet Fountain for my cats.)
Put a few ice cubes or chips of ice in kitty's water. He may pat the ice around for a few minutes, but he'll almost always eventually drink.
