Before I can post any reader-submitted cat pictures on my site, there are certain legalities involved. Also, because my readers enjoy learning the stories behind each cat picture they view, a paragraph or two about the cat from the person who knows him best is always nice. And in order to give proper copyright attribution to the pictures, I need the full name of the person submitting the photos. (A first name or alias can be used for photo attribution on the album page.)
The form for sending all this information plus other tips for file sizes, file types, etc., is included in the Photo Submittal Guidelines page.
A related question which I occasionally receive is, "I don't have a scanner or a digital camera. Can I just 'snailmail' my pictures to you so you can put them online?"
I regret to say that this is not really possible. However, most photo processing plants nowadays will put your photos on a CD for a small additional charge. A quick Google of photo processing with CDs will bring up a dozen links, or your local drugstore processing lab would probably do the job for you.
