I knew the minute I saw this photo that it had to be a Cat of the Week picture. (It also will appear in a new 2008 Tuxedo Cats photo gallery. It was eye-catching, plus two-for-the-price-of-one. When I asked Janeen for more information about the adoptability of the cats, it was reassuring to know that Mori was one of Janeen's "keepers," and that Tassi has already found a forever home.
Peanut's Place (named after a rescued kitten that was lost during surgery) was started officially in 2003, and has placed 286 cats since then in forever homes. There are still 25 cats available for adoption. Anyone in the Pipestone, MN area who is interested in adopting a cat may contact me and I'll put you in touch with Janeen.
