Cat Picture of the Week: Q.T.

This is Q.T. and he is 15 years old. We adopted him from a shelter when he was only six months old. He was one of the very first cats to get an implanted I.D. chip for identification, so we also refer to him as "High Tech Kitty". He has been nothing but a constant joy over the years. He loves people and will come to the door if someone knocks instead of running away.

He is definitely more Daddy's cat, but he loves Mom, too and he loves to sleep on Daddy at night. This photo shows him as he is most of the time, in his basket on the back porch, catching the morning sun. He has 3 kitty "siblings" and loves to groom them and take care of them as if he were the momma cat. His last check up was excellent and we hope he will be with us for many more years. We cannot image a life without "The Q."
