I had lived alone, and so the bond that her and I would share would last now for 6 years. I would have never thought that when I named her Sassy, that it would fit her so well, because she is a Sassy cat all the way. I came home one day from work, to find that someone had shot her with a pellet gun in her neck. I doctored her up, and told her that the rest was up to her. Five years later, she is doing great and very healthy.
Sassy is such a character. She will sleep in the most odd places, such as shoe boxes, which she can barely fit in, plastic grocery bags, but she loves it. People tell me all the time, that I should submit her photos, so I found this web site and decided to share her with the world. I'm am so grateful for her, as I have had many cats in my life, but not one like her. I don't know what I would do without her.

Sassy's photo also appears in the White February Cats Picture Gallery. I chose her because I loved her story, and of course, because of her pristine beauty. My Cat Pictures of the Week are chosen by me from general photo submittals, but only those submitted with all the information requested in my Photo Submittal Guidelines.
