Cat Picture of the Week: Sassy

My cat's name is Sassy. I worked at a lumber yard, and one morning I came in and there she was, someone had just left her there. She was so beautiful. I brought her into the office, as I had to finish my day, but then I would take her home with me. Throughout the day, she sat on my desk, playing with everything I had on my desk, including anything I was using, such as my keyboard, pencil, calculator, etc. Needless to say, I fell in love with her right then, she was my baby.

I had lived alone, and so the bond that her and I would share would last now for 6 years. I would have never thought that when I named her Sassy, that it would fit her so well, because she is a Sassy cat all the way. I came home one day from work, to find that someone had shot her with a pellet gun in her neck. I doctored her up, and told her that the rest was up to her. Five years later, she is doing great and very healthy.

Sassy is such a character. She will sleep in the most odd places, such as shoe boxes, which she can barely fit in, plastic grocery bags, but she loves it. People tell me all the time, that I should submit her photos, so I found this web site and decided to share her with the world. I'm am so grateful for her, as I have had many cats in my life, but not one like her. I don't know what I would do without her.
