Every week this site honors a Cat Picture of the Week, which is posted on the main page each week as well as in this gallery. This gallery contains Cat Pictures of the Week for the year 2009, each chosen from cat pictures submitted for the many different picture albums on this site. I do not accept photos submitted directly for "Cat of the Week" pages. My criteria, equally weighted, is on the beauty of the cat, quality of the photograph, and the care with which the cat is described. My audience enjoys reading the background story of the cat, his or her unique personality qualities, and why the cat is so important to his human parent.
To submit a picture for consideration for any of the albums, please follow the Photo Submittal Guidelines">. I cannot use photos without all the requested information.
