When Nancy Ellington rescued Grace as a tiny, dirty gray kitten, she did so with the intention of adopting her out. However, after taking her to an adoption day event at a local Belks store, Nancy found that she couldn't bear to give her up, so home again Grace came to stay.
In Grace's Show and Tell story, Nancy describes her as very friendly, following her around while Nancy is working in her garden, and cuddling with her in bed at night.
