Bear and his Dog Dufus
Bear is one of 8 cats that own us. All are rescued cats and Bear was abandoned as a kitten with 3 others. We found him and his siblings in an old plastic milk case on the side of the road just as an evening thunderstorm was starting. We brought the four kittens into our attached garage where it was warm and dry.
After feeding them my wife looked at Bear and mentioned he "looked like a little grey teddy bear," and the name stuck. Of all our cats he is the friendliest with both people and other cats. He even cuddles up with our large mixed breed dog, Dufus.
