There is no pleasure quite so intense as the pride of a cat lover over his or her cats, and no better way to share that pleasure with other cat lovers than with pictures. We show off our pictures online in blogs, online photo galleries, and forums. You can also always spot a true cat lover by the number of cat pictures displayed in her home, and these products provide everything needed to make the most of those cat photo displays.

1. Sony DCR-HC30 Mini DV Digital Camcorder

A digital camcorder is almost a must for anyone who has despaired at losing those great action shots of their kitties at play, and mini digi camcorders seem to be the wave of the future. I like this one for its reasonable price, and because it has received a pretty good review from CNet.com. I would definitely want to buy an upgraded battery, as the one provided with the camera only lasts for about 50 minutes of recording - not nearly enough to capture my cats' antics in a given session.

2. Canon PowerShot A95 Digital Camera

Canon is a well-respected name in cameras, and the A95 is the latest of its (reasonably low) price range. Five megapixels allow for superb image quality, the 21 shooting modes add flexibility and pizzaz, and its 3X optical zoom is adequate for my purposes. This camera provides many features of more expensive digicams, and it's at the top of my list for an upgrade to my old Olympus C2020 Z, which was top-of-the-line when I bought it almost five years ago.

3. Canon MP360 Photo Printer Copier/Scanner

This multifunction machine does it all: prints, copies, and scans, with up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi color print resolution, up to 18 copies per minute black, 12 cpm color, and up to 1,200 x 2,400 dpi scan resolution, 48-bit color. It has received very high reviews on Amazon for multifunction printers in its price range.

4. Canon iP4000 Inkjet Photo Printer

This photo printer uses a 4-color ink system so that you can replace only one color at a time as needed, instead of a more expensive 3-color cartridge. It's print speed is decent, at 25 ppm black(2.4 seconds per page),17 ppm color(3.5 seconds per page), and its resolution a respectable 600 x 600 dpi (black), and 4800 x 1200 dpi (color). It handles several different sizes and types of media, including envelopes. For $150 or less, this photo printer rivals the features of my HP Photosmart 1115.

5. Strait-Line Intersect Laser Level

Okay, so why is a carpenter's tool on a cats site? If you're like me, you'll want to cover your walls with photos of your cats, and crooked photos are annoying. I have the regular Strait-Line level already, which is great for lining up wallpaper borders, but the Intersect goes one step further. It lines up both vertical and horizontal lines for picture-perfect hanging of those cat pictures. It "sticks" to the wall without damaging it, so you can use both hands for adjusting that picture frame.

6. White Regal Picture Frames

If you have a number of cat pictures to display, you'll want to invest in some multi-picture frames. These frames use simple lines and a white finish, so they don't distract from the real beauty of the cats. These frames are 3/4" thick and come in various sizes for display of photos from 4" x 6" or 5" x 7". Also availabe is a 12" x 30" frame with 14 openings of various sizes. Mats and wall-mount hardware are included, all at very reasonable prices.

7. Scalloped Pine Shelves

Shelves are great for displaying framed photos of cats, along with other cat collectibles. These unfinished solid pine shelves are all 5" deep and 6" high, and range from 16" to 36" wide. A scalloped "skirt" under the shelf holds three pegs for hanging odd stuff, such as your cat's leash and Walking Jacket. I think I'd either put a clear finish one them, or paint them white, to match the picture frames, and I'd need at least two, in different sizes.

8. Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9

As a non-geek, I've used Paint Shop Pro from its very first iteration It has evolved over the years, and version 9 offers many of the features of the more expensive PhotoShop, including filters, plugins, paintbrushes, layers, and tubes, along with a fairly shallow learning curve. I'd truly be lost without PSP, and I recommend it highly for midlevel computer users.

9. Pet Photo Album

This pewter-covered picture album is perfect for coffee table display at home, or as a gift for a friend. The cover features raised mice, fishies, and other kitty treasures around the edges, with room for a 3 7/8" x 5 7/8" photo opening on front, and room for 100 4" x 6" photos inside. Free personalization is included, for engraving your kitty's name on the cover. What a wonderful gift idea!

10. Other Media for Displaying Cat Photos

CafePress.com provides users a free "store," where you can upload your digital photos and have them printed on clothing, mugs, posters, canvas bags, mousepads, clocks, and a variety of other items. If you want to sell your products to others, you can open a "Pro" store for a very low monthly price. A terrific opportunity for personalized gifts with photos of your own or the recipient's cats.
