Close cupboards safely against cats.

Keep toxic products in safely closed cabinets. A strong rubber band will do in a pinch.

Secure cleaning products, insect poisons, human medication, and other toxic products in closed and secure cabinets or cupboards. Even some of the clean-green products have the potential for harm if ingested by cats. Use heavy rubber bands to secure double doors; better yet, invest in some of the products sold to secure cabinets from small children. After all, our cats are our children, in a sense, and are prone to the same curiosity and exploration as human children.
