2008 Cat Breeds Picture Gallery: Tonkinese Cat Mikado

I rescued Mikado from a shelter about 8 years ago. Although he tolerates my husband and son, he's strongly bonded with me. I work from home a lot, and he sometimes gets jealous of my 'other laptop' and insists on sharing my lap with it. He likes grapes and loves playing with and chewing on grape stems. He's an indoor cat but likes to walk outside on a harness. I call him my 'silkie tribble' because he's got seal points, and when he's happy, his purr turns into the trilling sound that the tribbles on Star Trek made.
