Cat Breeds Picture Gallery: Meika, Tonkinese Cat

Meika is a female Blue Mink Tonkinese & turned 3 years old in Jan,2006. We bought her from a breeder in North San Diego County at 2 years old; she had never been successfully bred; has one slightly crossed eye. She retrieves her fuzzy ball until exhausted, is very aerobatic, snuggly, intelligent and a sweet little girl. We have discovered that she has only one kidney, an apparent birth defect. She also is showing strong symptoms of asthma, which we are treating with homeopathic meds due to her sole kidney. Since we lost our beloved blue point siamese at 18.5 years of age last November, we were lucky to find such an adorable bundle of love to help heal our hearts. She has the classic Tonkinese personality and then some!
