I like what Laurie posted on the forum, that Bailey's name and her colors reminded her of Bailey's in a cup of coffee. YUM on the drink and on this cat!

Tortoiseshell Cat Bailey
Bailey. She was abandoned by her previous owner when she moved out, leaving her and another cat behind. A woman took both of them in, and was trying to rehome Bailey. Because she had a full hand, I offered to foster Bailey while we try to rehome her (of which efforts was abandoned when she curled up in my lap one day).
She came a pretty prickly cat who didn't trust me, but I had patience with her. Turns out that some of her teeth were severely decaying, which contributed to her growly prickiness; so once she had those teeth removed; she became a loving, affectionate cat.
