My parents had pure bred Persians when I was a kid, so I grew up around them and have always enjoyed the company of a cat. Our first Manx was an orange colored Manx named Tiger. We had him for 24 years before he went to the bridge. After a year without a cat, we decided that it was time so off we went to our local shelter where we found this little tiny grey Manx. At 12 weeks old, I could hold him in the palm of my hand. We never expected that he would grow into our big guy Snickers. Then in January
08 I saw a picture of Baby Girl from Homeward Bound, a local rescue group in the DC area. Fell in love with her coloring and decided that Snickers deserved a companion.
Snickers, our 22# grey Manx. He is 9 years old and while big is our gentle giant. Very laid back and loves lap time. Baby Girl is our multi-colored Manx. A petite 9.5# and 3 years old, she is a talker like most females and is discovering that lap times are pretty cool!
