Lucky, who Lived up to his Name
Lucky was found wondering around the school yard where I volunteer. All he wanted was someone to give him love. What did it for me was when he stood up on his hind legs and reached for me to pick him up. I happened to have some cat food on the truck that day so this little wanderer got fed and got some fresh water. He was still there when it came time to leave for home. One of the children at school said that he belonged to a neighbor but that the neighbor moved and left the cat behind a couple of weeks ago. His name was unknown. But since Lucky made cat number seven for me and it was the 7th of the month when I brought him home he was named Lucky. The vet and I figured that he was aproximately a year to a year and a half old. Lucky will soon be here for three years and he fits right in with his three sisters and three brothers.
