We lost our beloved cat Nicholas(aka Nick) to complications from diabetes on 11/16/2005. We adopted him in January 1998, and it was love at first sight. We so miss the conversations Nicholas had with us (he was quite vocal, and love attention - petting, brushing, etc). He would wake me up every morning by rubbing his head on my chin, and he was always by the front door when we returned home from work. Nick loved his people, and his people so loved him.
Nicholas was the epitome of unconditional love - he would often let us hold him in our arms, even like a little baby. Nicholas was the son I never had (I've never had children), and I will miss him dearly.
