Irresistible
This beautiful young cat came into our lives as a rescue, saved by our vet last year after being brought in for euthanasia by animal control. Irrestible stole my heart the first time I saw him, and endeared himself to my husband as well. He was our first cat and through our bonding and love, helped me deal with the sudden death of my father last year, and also became my husband's shadow and best buddy, which helped him through the death of our 15 year old poodle in June, who also was my husband's little buddy.
Irresistible died suddenly yesterday while boarding at the vet's. He was found curled up in his cage during the morning rounds. We came home that afternoon to the horrible news, and are shocked and devastated. From all indications, he died peacefully in his sleep, probably from an unknown heart condition. We are left wondering if the stress of boarding could have contributed in some way to his passing.
He was the best boy, sweet, loving, beautiful, and simply Irrestible! We know that we will meet our baby again in heaven, but until then our broken hearts will be missing a big piece named Irresistible!
