She survived a three story fall that shattered her right leg. I'll never forget how bravely she held herself up to use the litter box with her broken leg pinned and screwed back together, her whole body shaking in the effort.
She also survived a stroke that left her completely paralyzed for 5 days in October of this year. She returned to full body use after that and only seems a bit wobbly. She became paralyzed from the waist down 9 months later and was not able to recover from that.
I am devastated by the loss of my Sun Bunny, Sweetie Pie, Baby Doll, Princess, Angel, and Precious. Nights are the hardest since we always slept together, her head on my pillow and her paw on my cheek. I look forward to seeing her again when my time here is over. Until then, I pray that she visits me in my dreams.
